Had so much fun touring the Houston Space Center!!! I teared up several times for happiness! For the longest time of my life being an astronaut was my goal. It was a special astronaut day and we got to hear a talk from an astronaut that was on the Columbia shuttle and has been to the International Space Station. He seemed older when he went up. Maybe there’s still time for me….

On vacation in Houston for the weekend. Coffee tastes so much better on vacation!!! My husband, brothers and one sister will be curling at a tournament this weekend. Glad we’ll be in a cool ice rink later! It’s more humid here than Austin. Beautiful morning here at the pool though.

Grocery shopping this morning!!!one of my favorite finds since we moved here is HMart. They did not have one where we were in Philadelphia. This one is 15 minutes from our house and we always find amazing food!!! Of course we also went to HEB as well. Came home, and I was starving!!! One of my favorite high protein snacks is plain Greek yogurt with strawberries that I cut up and marinated with sugar, and HEB granola. Yum! 😋

Had an amazing day yesterday!!! Took the boys for a walk around Zilker Park while my husband had soccer practice there. Then we took the boys to the original location of Chuy’s for lunch. Then in the afternoon, my youngest came with me to see Dreamworld, the Pet Shop Boys concert movie. It took all my willpower to not get up, dance and sing, and get us kicked out!!!

It’s cold!!!!! 🥶 only a high of 25 degrees F for a high today! This is not normal Austin, TX weather! We walked around the Domain today and I loved this hat and coat. I felt like it was giving Claudia Schiffer cameo in Love Actually vibes. Also painted my nails yesterday. It turned out to be a nice cranberry color. Scenes from the last few days as we go back to a regular routine…. I got my mammogram done today. It should be annual, but it was more like two years due to our moving. A pic of the latest podcast I enjoyed listening to. And on Sunday, Liam joined me for my 2+mile walk in the neighborhood. And last but not least, I found out we have a cactus in our front yard that looks like Mickey Mouse! The outdoor walk was my 7th since I started. I can’t do every day right now with all our other activities, but I will on the days we don’t have commitments.
